It's been a long time since I lived in Auburn - almost 30 years!  I still have family in town tho.  I was wondering about renting the fire company hall for a private party - who to call, what it costs, do you have to be a member of the fire and ambulance thing, etc.  Any help would be appreciated!

Glad to see Doug is running for council again. He does a lot of good stuff for a lot of people in Auburn.  If it wasn't for him over the past winters Auburn would have been in bad shape.  He donates a lot of time and $$ to make sure the borough is in good
shape.

[MonsoonMike 2009-10-19 05:55:54]:

Thanks! It looks helpful, but unless I'm missing it, I only see the list of candidates. Is

there anywhere I can find information on what the candidates stand for? Also, I don't

see Shelby Leimeister on the list, but I suppose that's because it is a write-in candidate.

Anywhere I can find out what Shelby Leimesiter stands for vs. Ms. Burke? Thanks in

advance!

Mike on Market Street.

Yes. It just lists the candidates the are on the ballot for the election. Since Shelby is a
write in candidate, she wouldn't be listed.

As far as knowing how the candidates stand on issues, it would probably be best to just
ask them directly if you have a concern for certain issues.

Hope this helps some.

Yes. That would be Shelby Leymeister. Here is a link that will show who is running and
for what office.

Hello. Great website and forum, by the way. A nice surprise to see that my little town

has such a caring group of elected officials to see them create a forum. A question.

We've been residents since 2003 and the mayor has always been Barbara Burke. Just

this year, I see signs popping up for I believe the name is "Shelby Leimeister," write

in candidate for Mayor. We're very serious about elections and never miss performing

our civic duty. I'd like to know if there is more information about the candidates running

for Mayor so that we can make the most informed decision as possible regarding where

they stand on the issues, etc. Thanks!

Signed, Mike on Market St.
