Auburn Historical Society

October marks the 2nd anniversary of the creation of the Auburn Historical Society.

The Auburn Historical Society had over two dozen lifetime members as well as over
sixty different people who have attended one or more of the monthly meetings.

The meetings are conducted in the Auburn Borough Building and are scheduled for
7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month unless otherwise posted.

The meetings usually involve conducting AAHS business, presenting and examining
historical memorabilia pertaining to the Auburn area, an educational presentation or
guest speaker, socializing with other members and refreshments.

Everyone is welcome to attend free of charge. The primary purpose of the AAHS
is reflected in their motto "Preserving the Past for Future Generations to Treasure".

Your support of the AAHS is greatly appreciated. The AAHS would like to express its
appreciation to Donna Spotts. Donna fulfilled the duties of the AAHS secretary but
regrettably decided to step down from the position for personal reasons. Donna's
dedication to her responsibilities and her outstanding work results will be greatly

missed.
